Water Softening System

Water Softening System

Matten Technologies Inc. offers a Complete Water Treatment System that can handle the demand for soft water. Our Technical Team can design and install a Water Softening System that is tailor-made for your requirements with the following benefits:

  • Low Capital Investment Cost
  • Cost-Effective Operations
  • High Water Recovery
  • Energy-Efficient
  • Minimal Maintenance Cost

Our Water Treatment System makes use of the Ion Exchange Technology to treat “hard” water coming from ground and surface sources (e.g. deep well, river, lake, etc.) to make it “soft” enough for a variety of applications within a processing plant. The removal of “hardness” ions from water is necessary so as to prevent the scaling of heat-exchange equipments and of the piping system.

With the solid support our foreign principals, our clients are guaranteed with only the best quality components in our Water Softening System. While our commitment to service assures our customers with the most satisfactory technical assistance whenever needed.

"Water Softening Meets the Demand of an Evolving Industry"

The Sugarcane Industry has a rich history which traces back from the ancient civilizations. Its cultivation originated from the South and Southeast Asian region where the oldest record of crystallized sugar has been found. From the South, the industry expanded first to the Middle East, Mediterranean and East Asian regions then to the European continent and finally to the Americas.

Originally cultivated and processed for its food value, the sugarcane industry rose to prominence during the colonial period and has ever since been dominating the economic landscape of some countries. The importance of sugarcane in world economy was further affirmed with the recent discovery of the crop as an alternative source of fuel and the consequent birth and development of the Bioethanol Industry.

In the Philippines, where the sugarcane is being considered as an important crop in the Southern regions, this recent development has paved the way for the opening of Bioethanol Plants in the rural areas. With this leap in the economy and in the field of technology comes an “Increasing Demand for a Supply of Soft Water”

In the processing of Sugarcane to produce Sugar and Bioethanol, a significant amount of water is used in heat-exchange equipments like:

  • Boilers
  • Cooling Towers
  • Distillation Columns
